Kitchenalia, coins, banknotes and stamps an auction treasure

Coins, banknotes and stamps will be a major feature of Young’s Auctions weekly sale from 9.30am Friday February 20 at 229 Camberwell Road, East Hawthorn.

The coins include a centenary florin and banknotes sequential $5 and $2 notes.

The auction contains a large collection of kitchenalia including antique eggbeaters, brass scales, meat covers, rolling pins, scoops and measures and wood saltcellars.

There are sterling silver and jewellery items a “treen” or wooden mosaic box and Moran leather couches and recliners.

Dare Gallery furniture also is featured along with a king size four poster bed, quality new lounge suites and dining settings.

Unusual is the Brigitte Forestier display cabinet, Skywalker telescope and Duntech wall mounted panel speakers.
